OBJECTIVES

To create and stage within three (!) weeks an event emphasizing Vienna traditions. A 3-day programme for 100 private guests of the sheik.

PERFORMANCE

A "Windows to Vienna" was created showing impressions both from different epochs and from Vienna. Prior to the gala event, a broad promotions campaign informed the Viennese about the Grand Hotel as a Viennese institution with a history. A mainly international make-up of guests enjoyed a firework display of cultural events in conjunction with Viennese presentations. A gala evening was guaranteed with superstars from classical music featuring Neil Shicoff, Angelika Kirchschlager and Timna Brauer through to the Vienna Boys' Choir, the national opera, Benni Schmied and Stefan Vladar.
